Morning breakfast...

What they will grow up to be. This cow is a 4 yr old taken last summer

We have not had any moisture at all this winter. Very little snow which made grazing corn stalks nice this year. I just moved some may-june calvers to fresh stalks the other day. The stalks have not decayed at all, lots of feed still left....This set cows are ready to go to grass if it would ever rain.

We are feeding a ration of WDG, wet beet pulp, wheat straw and ground corn stalks. Cows that are calving and pairs waiting to go to grass are fed. The late calvers will graze cornstalks till its time to calve for them. This will be also the same time at we start strip tilling to plant corn.

The green is on the ground, a little anyway. I am sure it will be dessert like here soon enough. Why does Dennis like everything today anyhow? It scares me a little. You can be happy, and still not like everything.

Bootheel, happy with all the stuff I don't like

Welcome Farmerkuk,
are you any kin to Friar Tuck? Smile
I`m going to show DV some green tomorrow...but the only thing green worth less this time of year than our green grass is the American greenback...neither grass nor dollars have any substance to back them up Smile
