I agree with your paper statement, Reg papers have about the same worth as the us dollar today,,, (not much) I still track parentage for my own use as perhaps a way to track the traits that I dont like..... If nothing else gives me something to do.

I think that we can improve consistency and reduce variation in bw.

Your point of the thread here is how ever different than that. It is more to the point of what people will do to sell something.

I call it the shit yourself therory.... If you shit yourself long enough you will indeed have shit yourself and have one hell of a mess to clean up. Embarassed

Today I watched parts of the Mytty sale on Superior-- and they sold pretty well...But I noticed that when the BW on the bull got above 90lbs (some in the 100+'s) the price took a pretty severe drop- and old Roger would have to work to try and get $2000 for them....
