I'm thinking I need to start selecting for the "cold tolerance" gene these kelso sheep have. Started at -40 this morning and with windchill remained around there all day.
GF - thinking its time to consider relocating again.
Here`s a possibility Grassy...I was told last night by my KC traveling  ambassadors that minus 24 "just don`t feel that cold" Very Happy a dry cold compared to Ky ya know Very Happy
from the air, Billings picture made me feel good about staying home in KY:)

but oh, how we love a parade...

Kristina has volunteered her advice to the committee about how to add some color to the parade next year...Smile
but Red Lodge was hopping, as the world keeps on shopping...be it a new shirt, or a better bull...

Larry`s favorite eating place was lit up...

more to come; if they don`t freeze out...however, they prepared as best they realized based on John Nyquist`s advice he had for everyone in Canada when John came out on a nice sunny morning {that turned cloudly and cool} with a medium heavy coat...you only freeze once Smile

sorry to divert your November Scenes  thread Eddie...but after all, it is now December...Very Happy

Not a problem. Red Lodge seems to have top EPDs for snowfall while we are in the 60's headed for the 40's and a cold rain tonight. We have to be where the excitement is at. Maybe after the parade they can have a "going out of parade sale" or a "snow dispersal". They have been doing a parade for 7 years is my guess so their time is up if they use purebred snow! Wonder if the have any defective snow flakes to report?

Looking out on the morning cold
I used to feel so uninspired
And when I knew I had to face another day
Lord, it made me feel so tired
Before the day I met KC, life was so unkind
But it`s the key to my peace of mind

Cause it makes me feel,
KC makes me feel,
KC  makes me feel like
A natural woman

Even if they are freezing to death, Thelma and Louise will never admit it. I bet that the taffy from the Emporium will knock your teeth out when it's minus 24.

another of Kristina; with credits to the best dentist that ever practiced, Joe Dunkum...

since selfies are in, and Larry has bitched so much about that close up pic showing his ears and scars, I thought company would perhaps pacify misery, and  since my hair came in the mail today, and there`s only me here, all circumstances called for a self-portrait, now called a "selfie"...

a little Grecian formula to the beard, and I`ll be attracting attention on the golf course for reasons other than my Off-Line shots Smile

Tom, sent your message above out to Thelma and Louise...and they said tell you get ready to handle child chores next year at this time, so Tracy can meet them {and Kendra and Lisa and Jan...and whoever else dares} in Red Lodge NEXT YEAR for the stroll...
my lord, there`s always next year in more things than just farming/ranching...Smile

Two Mile Bridge Rd...my favorite intersection for thought
...

crossing Rock Creek...

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of those rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words will be ours.
